St Georges Hill Lawn Tennis Club has been established since 1913 and is based in the heart of this prestigious estate in Surrey. The club wanted to extend its catering function to provide a Sunday carvery service to its clients.
To achieve this aim, they requested a discrete servery unit which could be easily stowed away when not in use.
The Solution
Working alongside JDS Catering, Corsair designed and manufactured a bespoke mobile servery counter, combining elements from our Cherwell and Beaumont ranges. The unit was tailored to the club’s requirements, incorporating heated food displays, integrated lighting and a heated gantry with sneeze guard.
For this particular application the gantry is mounted on telescopic legs, so it can be easily lowered after service.
To preserve the appearance of the dining area, Corsair engineered a powder coated cover that conceals the lowered gantry, allowing the servery unit to integrate far more discreetly into its surroundings, compared to a traditional servery installation.
